Prima eSport is aware that during last week a video started to flourish around regarding alleged matchfixing in the CS:GO game between Paperlanes and Prima eSport on the 24th of March.
Prima eSport took immediate action and contacted our CS:GO team and Esportal regarding the alleged matchfixing. As it currently stands, Prima eSport are not suspected of being involved in the alleged matchfixing and the investigation surrounding an involved player in the Paperplans organisation. Prima eSport were unfortunate to be the opponents in the match.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and have promised to assist Esportal in any way possible during the investigation. If this becomes an investigation for the swedish police authority, Prima eSport will assist there as well if needed.
We would also like to take this opportunity and say that Prima eSport has zero tolerance against any type of matchfixing and / or cheating in any level of sports and this has been communicated to our entire organisation. It is against our core values at Prima eSport and we will continue encouraging fair play. Matchfixing and / or cheating has no place in any type of sports, period.
We look forward to this situation being properly investigated and if proven, we hope that action will be taken against the alleged player(s) and instigators involved.
